After School Care

C4 Hours

Before School – 7-8:30am, includes breakfast. $12.40 per child.

After School – two options, both include afternoon tea.
3-4pm $18.50 per child
3-6pm $25.75 per child
We offer a 10% discount for each additional sibling.

Programme

3pm – Children arrive at the hall
3:10 – Roll call
3:15 – Afternoon tea served
3:30 – Homework session begins in the library
Games start outside; crafts set up in the hall; after school classes begin
4:30 – Children arrive back at the hall
4:30-6pm Games and crafts continue

Claire Jeffries’ introduction

Hello everyone!
I was delighted to join the team at Parnell District School at the beginning of 2019, as our Education Programme Coordinator. I set up our C4 After School Care programme which runs Before School Care, After School Care and Holiday Programmes, as well as coordinating all extra-curricular activities held on site.

This is a very exciting new venture for Parnell District School and by running the programmes in-house, we can ensure that all your children’s individual needs are met.

For a little about me… I am originally from Wellington where I trained as a nurse after leaving school. I worked as a pharmaceutical representative before having my three children who are now young adults. For the last 12 years I worked at Saint Kentigern Boys’ School as the Hospitality Functions Manager so I am very comfortable working in a school environment. As a mother myself I know the importance of high quality out of school care.

My vision is to ensure your children are well cared for in a safe & supportive environment, have a nutritious breakfast or afternoon tea, complete assigned homework and have time to relax & play.

I look forward to meeting you all and being part of this wonderful community.
