Girl Guiding New Zealand

What–Girl Guiding NZ offers girls opportunities to develop their own special personalities and be themselves through a range of comprehensive programmes.  Girl Guides was founded on a belief that confidence, self-esteem and an awareness and appreciation of the outdoors can be gained through a combination of choice, co-operation and personal challenge.  It’s a great way for girls to make new friends and enjoy a range of diverse activities in an environment of positive encouragement and fun.

Who – Brownies is for girls aged 7 – 9 1/2 years. Younger girls aged 5 – 6 years old can be part of Pippins, while older girls aged 91/2 – 14 year olds can be involved in Girl Guides.

Guides - St Aiden’s Guides, St Chad’s Scout Den, Wednesday evenings;
