College Rifles Junior Touch Rugby
What– The 2009/2010 season is a larger 15 week competition (last years’ was only 12 weeks), played on a Friday evening. The competition runs from 16th October - 11th December (9 weeks then a break for Christmas) then restarts 12th February – 19th March 2010 (6 week period).
Who – Boys and girls aged 5 – 13 years – grades are based on a player’s age as at 01.10.09. Mixed or same sex teams allowed. School teams are also welcome.
When – Friday evenings – ages 5 – 7yrs at 5.00pm (12 teams), ages 8 – 10 yrs at 5.30pm and 6.00pm (2 pools of 8 teams), and ages 11 – 13 at 6.30 and 7.00pm (2 pools of 8 teams). Pool A is for slightly older and more talented players, Pool B is for slightly younger and less talented players. Preferred date to have the registrations in by is October 2nd 2009.

Eastern Bays Touch
What - Eastern Bays Touch runs a youth competition made up of teams of 6 players plus reserves
Who– Boys and girls from Years 1 – 10. Teams are entered in the competition according to their year groups and registration is done as a team. However for children wanting to play but are not part of a team, parents should email Eastern Bays Touch – they maybe able to help place the child in a team.
When – The season runs from Tuesday 13th October to 15th December. Registrations with full payment must be received by Tuesday 15th September. Competition days are Tuesdays - Round 1 at 4.30pm, Round 2 at 5.00pm and Round 3 at 5.30pm. The cost is $500 per team for the season.
Where– Madills Farm, Kohimarama. These fields have ample parking and clean public facilities.

Grammar Junior Rugby Football Club
What – A rugby club for junior members, made up largely of players from the Remuera and Parnell suburbs
Who – Boys from aged 5 years (or 4 years if particularly robust!) to 12 years (Under 13 grade). U6 and U7 grades play Rippa Rugby while grades U8 and above play weight restricted tackle rugby.
When –Registrations are at the end of February/beginning of March each year, with games beginning in early April and finishing at the end of August.
Where – The home grounds are on Shore Road, Remuera with the Clubrooms adjacent to these fields (these clubrooms are used by the Parnell Cricket Club during the cricket season).
