What – An indoor ski slope with 365 days of snow, at a usual temperature of -5 degrees Celsius – no wind, rain, ice or sunburn! Snowplanet runs an after school Chillibin Club whereby children have a 90 minute lesson each week as they build up a strong skill base to eventually be part of the High Performance Club (HPC) - a ski racing development programme. Holiday programmes for skiers from levels 1 - 4 are also offered.
Who – Children aged 5 and over for the Chillibin Club, the HPC and the holiday programmes. Private lessons are also available.
When – Snowplanet is open 365 days a year. The Chillibin Club is on Mondays from 4 – 5.30pm during term time, subject to availability. Bookings are essential.
Where – 91 Small Road, Silverdale – approximately 35mins north of the harbour bridge. Follow State Highway 1 North and take the ‘Silverdale’ off ramp.
